This morning the WVCA (Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association) released the Week 1 poll for the Girls Volleyball season. This year it is seemingly true that Wisconsin has a bunch of talent in Girls Volleyball and has even caught the eyes of the nationwide website MaxPreps.
Nationally Ranked Girls Volleyball in Wisconsin:
On Tuesday, August 30th the National high school sports website MaxPreps released its nationwide Girls Volleyball rankings, and DSHA (Divine Savior Holy Angels) out of Milwaukee made #24 in the nation after its big win over Oconomowoc on Saturday night. During the preseason time, the Oconomowoc Racoons were ranked #23 in the MaxPreps Girls Volleyball Preseason rankings, but after a loss to DSHA, they fell to #30 in the nation.
