The Wisconsin football staff has already yet another 2024 recruit to their class after a four-star talent announced his commitment.
Omillio Agard, a 2024 corner back, has been a top target on the Badgers recruiting board as of late. Agard is one of the most talented players available at the position and provides Wisconsin with the frame they are looking for. The Pennsylvania native is ranked as the ninth player in the state and the 30th corner back overall.
Wisconsin Football Adds Versatile Corner Back To Solid 2024 Recruiting Class Following Departures
The Wisconsin Badgers football staff dealt with a rather odd situation this past week with the departure of two of their 2024 commitments. However, it appears as though each situation had been brought to the coaching staff’s attention long before the announcements. Already, Wisconsin has replaced both spots in their 2024 class in just a matter of days.
Agard, a 5-foot-10-inch, 175-pound corner back from Philadelphia is much bigger on the field than he is on paper. Agard brings serious power to each of his hits and rarely allows the offense to get away. The Wisconsin football staff has been most intrigued by the versatility that Agard possesses. The corner back can drop in coverage or pressure the quarterback depending on what his team needs. His ability to do so much on the defensive side of the ball will surely become valuable once he reaches Madison.

Wisconsin battled against Penn State, Clemson, Tennessee, Alabama, and other programs to land the highly touted defensive back. The Wisconsin Badgers currently have the 21st ranked 2024 recruiting class, which should certainly change after the commitment of Agard.

He went to UW because of the immediate playing time. He wasn’t getting on the field at LB at PSU or Bama any time soon.
