The Badgers are returning home, and they’re looking to continue their run of sweeps. Wisconsin Badgers volleyball extended their second-best start to a season only behind the 16-0 run in 2020. The No. 1 ranked Badgers are looking to down the Michigan Wolverines on a day that the Badgers will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the 2013 team that finished runner-up in the NCAA.
Wisconsin Badgers Volleyball by the Numbers
After taking out No. 22 Ohio State in a sweep, the Badgers extended their set win streak to 12. This dates back to their reverse sweep of the Florida Gators, and they’re looking to continue that against the 2-9 Wolverines.
Wisconsin Badgers volleyball is 6-0 against the top 25 ranked teams in the nation. They’ve played the 7th toughest schedule and have managed to dominate in the volleyball world. They lead the Big Ten in hitting percentage with .301. This also ranks 7th nationally. Carter Booth is the leader of the block party for the Badgers with 1.52 blocks per set, which is good for 2nd in the Big Ten and 8th in Division I.

Player to Watch for the Badgers
Carter Booth has been mentioned a couple of times for the Badgers, and for good reason. She’s led the Wisconsin Badgers in blocks nine times this season while adding 1.77 kills per set. Booth has been a versatile player for the Badgers, and she’ll look to continue that against the Wolverines.
