Wisconsin Badgers volleyball continues to remain supreme, especially considering their 7-0 start. The new AVCA poll is out, and it’s no surprise that the Badgers are at the top of Division I volleyball.

The Changing Field and More of the Same
The top 5 of the poll remained the same since the Badgers were ranked No. 1 last week as well. Behind Wisconsin’s 1,596 points is Louisville with 1493. Florida, Nebraska, and Stanford round out the top 5 with zero changes in their rankings. Each of the top 4 teams holds an undefeated record, with only Stanford finding a single loss.
Among other movers, Georgia Tech pushed their way into the top 10 after starting the season ranked No. 20. Iowa State and Dayton both moved into the top 25 after being unranked last week to No. 23 and No. 25, respectively. BYU found the largest drop week to week, falling from 8th to 12th.
The Wisconsin Badgers Volleyball Team Continues a Dominant Run
After taking over the top spot with a winning weekend, the Badgers continue to cut down teams with ease. This week, they faced two Power Five opponents, the Arizona Wildcats and the Miami Hurricanes. The Wildcats were sent packing with a sweep, and the Badgers put the Hurricanes down with little trouble in that sweep. With 4 of their 7 wins coming via the sweep, the Badgers are in prime position to continue on as the top dog in the nation.

As the Wisconsin Badgers look to keep their streak going, they’ll need to bring their A-game as they are on the road this week to take on Marquette on Wednesday and No. 3 Florida on Sunday.
