Tanor Bortolini’s Stats As A Badger
- Bortolini played in two games in 2020 as a redshirt freshman. He started at the guard position in 2021 against Illinois, Army, Rutgers, and Minnesota. Last season, he started in 10 games playing at left guard, right guard, center, and tight end.
- He became known as one of the most versatile linemen for the Wisconsin Badgers. Bortolini played in 11 games total in 2022, allowing just one sack.
Tanor Bortolini has changed from left guard to center to start the 2023 season. This was due to Jake Renfro getting injured, and not being able to play the position on the offensive line.
Badgers Offense in Week 2
Wisconsin will travel to face Washington State in Week 2. The offense will have to start clicking as the competition gets tougher as the season progresses. Having to create better-running lanes for the running backs will be key to the Badgers’ success on the road this week, including the passing game.
Bortolini has earned the right to be named the team’s best offensive lineman, whether in run blocking or in pass protection for quarterback Tanner Mordecai. As the season moves forward, Badgers fans hope to see the entire offense improve each week.
The game at Washington State is set to kick off at 7:30 pm EST on ABC!
