With change inevitable under new Head Coach Luke Fickell, it seems that we might be getting a new tradition for Wisconsin Badgers football. Following the first win of the season, he took to Twitter to spotlight and honor standout players from offense, defense, and special teams.
It looks like this will be when the Wisconsin Badgers win, so we’re looking forward to plenty more of these.

Standout Players for the Wisconsin Badgers
This week, after the resounding 38-17 triumph over Buffalo, the spotlight was firmly on the backfield duo of Braelon Allen and Chez Mellusi. They were on full display as they amassed a jaw-dropping combined total of 298 yards on the ground. Along with this ground domination, they also contributed four touchdowns to secure the victory, rightfully earning them the title of offensive players of the game.

Switching gears to the defense, Luke Fickell named Gio Paez, who showcased remarkable prowess in the trenches with 3 total tackles. Meanwhile, on the special teams front, Junior wide receiver Haakon Anderson was recognized for his contributions.
