As the 2022 NFL regular season draws closer, the list of available free agents on the market continues to shrink. One of the biggest names still available is reigning Super Bowl champion Wide Receiver Odell Beckham Jr, and he may be joining the Packers. With the end of the offseason approaching, Vegas released betting odds on potential landing spots for Beckham this season. The Packers are rumored to be in the mix to land Odell and have received +350 odds to secure a deal with the Wide Receiver. This gives the Packers the third best odds, behind only his former team, the Rams (+150), and the Buffalo Bills (+250).
OBJ would be a massive addition to the Packers due to the current situation at the Receiver position. With Davante Adams now gone, there is no clear answer as to who Aaron Rodgers’ top target will be. Rodgers has notably been unhappy with the performance of some of the younger receivers in practice. Allen Lazard is expected to be the number one receiver this year. Although he has made made massive strides, he will still struggle to replace Adams. The addition of Beckham would provide an instant answer to that question. Rumors continue go around regarding potential deals with several teams. Fans can expect to hear an announcement in the very near future.
