Skip Bayless has been one of the loudest voices criticizing Aaron Rodgers throughout the course of his career. However, today on “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed,” Bayless suggested that his Cowboys should trade for the four-time MVP quarterback.
Skip’s Comments Explained
Skip Bayless is known around the sports world for his constant backing of the Dallas Cowboys. However, after the Cowboys lost in the divisional round to the San Francisco 49ers, he shared his new realization about franchise quarterback Dak Prescott.
Why the Cowboys should trade Dak… for Aaron Rodgers. Now on @undisputed

“My bottom line, my conclusion, my devastated conclusion is Dak will always tease you without ever rewarding your patience in him. Who is he? He’s not who we need going forward,” Bayless said on Undisputed.
“I think Jerry was so distraught after the game because he realized Dak Prescott is not the answer. I think he realized on the flight home, this ain’t the solution here,” said Bayless. “To me, Dak should be on the trading block. Aaron Rodgers is on the trading block and maybe I’m playing fantasy football here… but the deals are pretty much the same over the next two years.”
Skip Bayless went on to say that Dallas has a seven-year sample size on Prescott and in that seven years, he has not gotten the job done. His reasoning for bringing up Rodgers’ name was the fact that he has proven he can get the job done. Rodgers believes he can still play at an MVP level in the right situation.
Why the Trade Will Not Happen
Obviously, anything is possible, but there are a few factors that would hold a trade like this from happening. First and foremost, it is unlikely that Green Bay would trade Aaron Rodgers within the conference, but it is not out of the question if they feel like the compensation is right. Second, all signs point to Green Bay rolling with Jordan Love if they were to move Aaron Rodgers.
Additionally, Aaron Rodgers has yet to decide if he even wants to play next season. He said on “The Pat McAfee Show” that he taking time with his decision. He also said he does not think if he came back to the Packers it would not be at the 60 million dollar number that has been floating around.
