Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love may be requesting a trade this upcoming offseason. Drama has been at an all-time high this season in Green Bay due to their underwhelming 5-8 season. With Aaron Rodgers‘ future seeming uncertain, could Love be growing impatient and seek a starting opportunity elsewhere?
Jordan Love Might Seek Trade in 2023
A trusted Packers insider, Jason Wilde, recently spoke with Jordan Love. Appearing on Homer & Tony, for ESPN Milwaukee, Wilde gave details on his conversation.
“I had a really great conversation with Jordan [Love] on Friday afternoon,” Wilde said. “I think he very clearly, even though he wouldn’t flat-out say it, he does not want to sit for another year. So, if we get to year four, and Rodgers does come back, I am fairly confident that he will seek a trade.”
If Love, does request a trade, it would certainly throw a wrench in the Packers’ plans for the future. However, is it possible that Love is being hyped up by the Packers organization to be used as trade bait? Possibly trying to swap Love for an offensive weapon to assist Rodgers next year.
Although, during the Packers’ latest win against the Bears, we saw Rodgers saluting the crowd, saying, “You never know when it’ll be your last time playing somewhere.” If that was Rodgers hinting at retirement, the Packers’ quarterback situation would become a little less complicated.
Nevertheless, the Packers will be presented with challenging, future-altering decisions next year. If you thought drama levels were high during the regular season, the offseason will be even more dramatic.

I believe that if the packers would have gotten rid of love this year and got a receiver weapon for rodgers we wouldn’t be in the predicament we’re in now and we would have at least gotten some value for the high price we paid to keep rodgers in no way is love going to be the franchise player that they think he’ll be if you ask me he feels like another tony mandrtch all the hoopla for a waste of a top pick also if rodgers had someone to throw to he would not have been so beaten up to the point of considering retirement and this is tough for me to say since rodgers lost a lot of respect from me the last couple of years to the point I have to force myself to watch them play
