Milwaukee Bucks news: There are more than a few former NBA players out there that have been campaigning for a potential return to the league this summer. It goes without saying that their path to the NBA has been extremely difficult considering how a lot of active players still haven’t found new teams in NBA free agency.
Nevertheless, it’s never easy to give up on your dream. This appears to be the case for former Bucks star Eric Bledsoe.
Former Milwaukee Bucks Star Eric Bledsoe Mounting NBA Comeback
According to a report by Damian Burchardt of The U.S. Sun, Bledsoe is one of a handful of current and former NBA players who took part in a private workout that was recently held in Las Vegas. The report also indicates that Bledsoe, who last played in the league during the 2021-22 season with the Los Angeles Clippers, contended with the likes of Austin Rivers, Talen Horton-Tucker, Christian Koloko, Thon Maker, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Brandon Boston Jr., and DJ Wilson.
That’s a pretty formidable list of players, which could make life even more difficult for Bledsoe, who will be turning 35 this coming season.
Bledsoe was part of the Bucks roster between 2017 and 2020. In three seasons, the 6-foot-1 combo guard posted averages of 16.3 points on 47.9 percent shooting, 4.4 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. It was also during his memorable spell in Milwaukee that the former No. 18 overall pick was voted twice into the NBA All-Defensive Team.
Perhaps the Bucks might consider giving him another shot this season?
