Tom Brady threw a fit in Week 2
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense was off to a slow start Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Quarterback Tom Brady let his feelings show by throwing multiple hissy fits that went viral on Twitter.

The tirade was much more forceful than what Aaron Rodgers showed in Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings. Rodgers was seen venting to his coach on the sideline. However, that, and his subtle nod of frustration after Christian Watson’s drop, was enough to get Rodgers in trouble with Sean Payton and the national media.
Brady seems to get more favorable treatment than Rodgers by the national media. What’s interesting about Brady’s tantrum Sunday was that it led to an on-the-field fight. That’s something we didn’t see on the field in Minnesota last week.

Packers fans called out the hypocrisy
Packers fans watching the game noticed the differences between Brady’s fit Sunday and Rodgers last week. They were all too ready to point out how unequal Rodgers is treated versus Brady.

So Tom Brady can do this and no one gets butthurt about him throwing a fit but if Rodgers were to do it, it would be the end of the world https://t.co/bLuYGAPgEQ

And if Rodgers does this he’s a bad teammate and a terrible person…Brady is just a fierce competitor when he does this. What a joke https://t.co/o9wGj1iDF9

Brady does this: just trying to inspire his team

If Aaron Rodgers did this he would be considered a Diva
Tom Brady does it and “Oh he’s just frustrated with his team” https://t.co/qSBNaIXzLL

We’ll see how the national media responds to Tom Brady’s actions Monday morning. I’d assume their take is that Brady is playing with passion. (Not to mention his stressful home life.) I’ll be waiting for Payton’s comments as well.
