The Green Bay Packers saw an extremely successful 2024 season end on a sour note. Going into the last two weeks of the season, Green Bay was 11-4 and looking at multiple different playoff scenarios. However, they would lose their final three games, including being eliminated in the wild card round of the playoffs.
Something needs to change in order for this team to go from playoff contender to Super Bowl contender. However, one of those things is a hot button topic.
“I Hate This” Packers Fans Divided Over Public Animosity Between Teammates (Report)
The following statement by Josh Jacobs is eye-opening, but not completely inaccurate:
Jacobs went onto the “No BS” podcast with Bill Schmid and Armen Saryan. He decided to talk about the Packers wide receiver group on the podcast. Josh Jacobs said:
“I think we need a guy that’s proven to be a #1 WR already.”
Those are some interesting comments from the star running back. He doesn’t want to see the team draft a wide receiver. Jacobs probably thinks that they should go after players like D.T. Metcalf, Tee Higgins, or Davante Adams this offseason.
One of those three wide receivers would probably be a better bet than drafting a wide receiver in the first or second round in the 2025 NFL Draft.
