The Green Bay Packers decided to let go of their defensive coordinator, Joe Barry, shortly after the conclusion of the 2023 season. The move was long-awaited by fans and has finally come to fruition. Fans are now speculating about who head coach Matt LaFleur will hire to fill the position.
The team made a surprising move by hiring Jeff Hafley, the former head coach of Boston College. Fans were caught off guard by this decision and began to question whether it was the right move. However, things started to look up when Hafley held his first press conference as the team’s defensive coordinator on Thursday afternoon. His coaching philosophy and his ability to develop players got fans excited about what he could bring to the team.
