The Green Bay Packers have already bid adieu to several notable players from last season. Davante Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders for a first and second round pick. Marquez Valdes-Scantling signed a three-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. Lucas Patrick and Equanimeous St. Brown both signed with the Chicago Bears. Two-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Za’Darius Smith signed with the Minnesota Vikings. Now, Packers free agent punter Corey Bojorquez.

What This Means for the Packers
The Green Bay Packers will now be searching for their third punter in as many seasons. Last year, Corey Bojorquez was signed to replace JK Scott. Bojorquez was one of the few bright spots on an abysmal Packers special teams. “Bojo” had the NFL’s longest punt of the season last season, an 82-yard Bojo-Bomb. He also had a punt travel 72 yards in 2021.
The Packers have a new special teams coordinator this season, Rich Bisaccia, formerly the interim head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. Bisaccia and the Packers do have have new punter. Pat O’Donell, who played for the Bears last season, is the only punter on the roster. This is just one more question a very questionable special teams will need to find an answer to.
