The Green Bay Packers are seeing many of their former players find new homes this off-season. Of course, Aaron Rodgers remains the biggest name in free agency who has yet to find a home. However, there is another long-time starter who could be on the verge of finding a new home.
Breaking: Former Packers Long-Time Starter Tries Out For NFC Rival
An offensive line starter from the New Orleans Saints’ 2024 team is expected to leave the team. According to Aaron Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks hosted former Saints, Packers, and Bears starting left guard Lucas Patrick on Monday:
The Saints signed Patrick to a one-year deal in 2023. The veteran guard started 10 games for New Orleans.
Patrick, 31, battled with injuries throughout the season and suffered a season-ending injury in the team’s Week 15 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. As a result, Patrick was placed on injured reserve after sustaining the knee injury on New Orleans’ final drive in their 34-0 loss.
The Saints have already lost veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to Seattle earlier in the offseason. With former offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak now holding the same role with the Seahawks, he could continue to target more former Saints from the 2024 roster.
