Key Stats
Green Bay Packers
The Packers are 1-0 following their impressive win over Chicago in week one. Jordan Love completed 15 of 27 passes for 245 yards and three touchdowns. He did a great job in his first start and protected the ball. Aaron Jones rushed nine times for 41 yards and a touchdown. He also led the team with two receptions for 86 yards and another touchdown. Rookie tight end Luke Musgrave secured three catches for 50 yards, while Romeo Doubs had four catches for 26 yards and two touchdowns.

Green Bay’s defense was impressive, and was able to limit Justin Fields to only 59 yards of rushing. They sacked him four times, had an interception, and recovered a fumble on the day. Devonte Wyatt recorded 1.5 sacks, while Quay Walker returned an interception for a touchdown. LaFleur and the Packers look good, and now face a young Atlanta team that has several playmakers.

Game Prediction
I love Green Bay in this one. Atlanta’s running game worries me a little, but if the Packers can shut it down, and force Ridder to throw, they will win. Injuries are starting to pile up, though, and the receiver position is looking thin if Watson, Doubs, and Aaron Jones are unable to go. This Atlanta defense doesn’t impress me anyway, and the Packers should be able to put up some points.
Realistically, I see Watson, Doubs, and Jones playing, and I don’t see Atlanta being able to stop them. Love was solid against the Bears, and I see him getting better as the season progresses and he becomes more comfortable. I am going with my gut in this one and rolling the Packers to win in Atlanta. If the defense doesn’t stop the Falcons running game though, Green Bay could be in trouble.
