The Green Bay Packers and the Pat McAfee show have had a closer connection than the show has with other teams. This is largely in part to Pat McAfee being good friends with Aaron Rodgers and his weekly appearance on the show during the season. However, now that Aaron Rodgers is not the Green Bay Packers’ quarterback the team is just like any other for the Pat McAfee show. That did not stop McAfee from sharing his thought on Jordan Love after training camp clips showed him playing well.
Pat Thinks The Green Bay Packers Have Their Guy
Jordan Love is going to be one of the stories to follow for NFL fans this season. The first-round pick in 2020 sat behind Aaron Rodgers as he won back-to-back MVP Awards. Similar to when Rodgers was drafted, three seasons later it’s his turn to lead the Green Bay Packers. Pat McAfee is one of the biggest names in sports media and he reacted to clips and reports of Jordan Love coming out of Green Bay Packers training camp.
“We got these deep balls from Jordan Love popping up every single day. You’re talking about poise, control, swag, moxy and f—–g dimes.”

Not only did Pat McAfee talk about Jordan Love’s ability to throw the ball, but he also talked about Love’s confidence and control of the team. He seems to believe that the Green Bay Packers are going to be just fine in the NFC North.
“I watched him do an interview with Stacey Dales, I think out at Green Bay Packers practice, and Stacey Dales said, ‘Everybody’s asking me, as if I’m a coach or OC, ‘what this offense is going to look like with Jordan Love as opposed to Aaron Rodgers?,” and she said, ‘So what is it going to look like now that you’re the man?’ [Jordan Love] said, ‘Yeah, I am the man.’ He just casually said that and I was like, ‘f—–g love that.'”

Pat McAfee did not mince words when expressing his love for Jordan Love’s confidence. Taking over for a first-ballot Hall of Fame quarterback comes with a lot of pressure. Jordan Love is tasked with following two first-ballot Hall of Fame quarterbacks. He has accepted that he is the man for the job and is ready to lead the Green Bay Packers in 2023.
“Everytime I’ve heard him speak I’m like, ‘Seems like a f—–g guy.’ What a time for the Green Bay Packers fans.”
