The Green Bay Packers offense has a new look this season with Jordan Love under center as opposed to four-time MVP and future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers. In addition, the Packers boast a core of young inexperienced pass catchers. They all got their first real test of the year in the team’s preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday night.
Some played extraordinarily well. Others did not.
PFF’s Top 5 Offensive Grades for the Green Bay Packers
Perhaps it is no surprise that Packers running back Emanuel Wilson had the highest grade on offense with a 93.5. He had six carries for 111 yards and two touchdowns. The other players rounding out the top five are:
- Elgton Jenkins- 85.6
- Zach Tom- 78.5
- Luke Tenuta- 76.5
- Dontayvion Wicks- 76.3
Unfortunately, Tenuta was injured late in the game. His leg was rolled up upon and his ankle injured. While the severity of the injury is unknown, he may miss some time.
PFF’s Worst 5 Offensive Grades for the Green Bay Packers
USFL MVP Alex McGough was the low man in terms of PFF grades for the offense. He played just seven snaps, but came away with a grade of just 28.1.
The other four-worst graded Packers players were:
- Royce Newman- 35.4
- Deuce Watts- 43.3
- Tucker Kraft- 44.8
- Henry Pearson- 48.5
While it is discouraging to see Kraft on this particular list, there is an upside: he had a 70.7 pass blocking grade.
For those wondering, Jordan Love had the sixth-best offensive PFF grade with a 75.6.
