The NFL world is awaiting Aaron Rodgers’ decision, and it looks like nobody really knows what’s going on. The Jets targeting Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb and Marcedes Lewis indicates that they are trying to meet some demands of Aaron Rodgers, but there is really no telling.
A report from ESPN’s Dianna Russini said that Aaron Rodgers gave the New York Jets a wishlist of free agents he would like them to target. Nearly every report says that Rodgers has yet to make his decision known to the Packers, so it is possible he is waiting for the Jets to meet his demands before deciding.
New York Jets Players Frustrated
Regardless of whether Rodgers is waiting for the Jets to finish his wish list or the Jets are waiting on Aaron Rodgers players seem to be getting tired of the whole ordeal. Zack Rosenblatt of “The Athletic” reported that Jets players are frustrated with how long the situation has dragged out.

The situation is not just something that picked up steam this week but has rather been a discussion since the Super Bowl. Rodgers has been contemplating his future since the end of the season and the Jets have been a team that has been thrown into the conversation ever since.

Many Jets players have been trying to recruit Aaron Rodgers, and have taken to social media to do so. Suace Gardner even burned the cheesehead he took from Lambeau Field last year in an attempt to bring the quarterback to New York.
Nobody really knows when Rodgers will make his decision, but the sense has always been that it will be before free agency begins. Free agency officially opens Wednesday, but the legal tampering period began on Monday. Aaron Rodgers’ decision seems to be getting closer with all the reports regarding the Jets talking to Lazard.
