Friday Night game for the Milwaukee Bucks was in Utah against the Jazz. The game had a few themes, and that was Assists, 3 pointers, and a Block Party by Brook Lopez. Especially in the 1st 2 minutes of the 1st quarter When Brook Lopez blocked 3 of his 7 Total blocks in the game. Defense fueled the Offense in the Beginning in particular Grayson Allen scoring the 1st 11 points for the Bucks including 3 straight 3″s. Giannis Antetokounmpo dished out 4 of his 11 assists in the 1st quarter, and Bucks were up by 15 going to the 2nd quarter 40-25.
Utah Jazz made a little run in the second quarter to cut the Bucks 15 point lead to close as 6 (54-48) with 4:35 remaining. Then Bucks went on a 16-2 run to grab a 20 point lead and go in to the Halftime Break up comfortably by 14
In the 3rd quarter Bucks started to pull away from the Jazz for good thanks to a Monster quarter from Giannis Antetokounmpo scoring 13 of his 24 points, and dishing out 4 more assists to get a Double Double. In the 4th quarter the lead was so big that Jrue Holiday, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Grayson Allen didn’t even play in the quarter. Brook Lopez Blocked his 7th shot of the game with a vicious swat on a Dunk attempt by Udoka Azubuike. Bucks end up scoring their 2nd most points all season in blowout win (144-116).

Joe Ingles played In Utah for the Jazz for the first 9 Years of his NBA Career 2014–2022. Tonight He Returns with his new Team with the Best record in the NBA (52-20) Milwaukee Bucks. During the game he was 2-5 from FG and both made FG were 3″s and also contributed 6 of the 42 assists as a team. When he checked in he got a Hero’s Welcome back home from the Utah Jazz Fans. Also during a timeout break He got a tribute Video and a standing ovation by the crowd for all he did as a Member of the Jazz organization.

Everyone who dressed and played for the Bucks tonight at least had 1 assist against the Jazz to result in a season High 42 assists. It is the Most the Bucks have had in a game since 2001.

Entering the Night Brook Lopez lead the NBA in total Blocks this season with 167 blocks. He added to the block party theme tonight with his 6th game with 6+ blocks in a game which also leads the NBA. Might become the 1st player in NBA History to have 300+ made threes and 200 blocks in a single season.

Milwaukee Bucks made 22-50 3-pointers 44% from 3 and shot 55-99 (56%) from the field. The Bucks finished with 42 assists on 55 baskets. Utah only shot (38.5%) 40-104 from the field and even colder from 3 11-40 (27.5%). One of the things Utah did well against the Bucks was crash the Offensive Glass out rebounding them 20-9. Defensive Rebounds Bucks lead 41-31 but total Rebounds Jazz got 51 and Bucks had 50.
With the Win Bucks improve to 53-20 to remain with the Best record in the NBA and a 2.5 lead on Boston for the top seed in the Eastern Conference with 9 games to Play. Giving a Bucks a magic # of 7 to clinch the one Seed. Utah with the loss fall just on the outside of the play in tournament just 1 game behind the 8th seeded Lakers. Bucks will now go to Denver Saturday night in a Matchup of the last 4 MVPs in the NBA and contenders for this year’s award as well.
