Wisconsin Badgers landed a three-star offensive lineman in Benjamin Novak. The star out of Merrillville Indiana Andrean was on campus this past weekend for the Badgers win over Purdue.
Offensive lineman Benjamin Novak will be joined at the University of Wisconsin by the three-star Pickerington North High School quarterback. The Badgers added their second commit to the 2026 recruiting class. Offensive lineman Benjamin Novak picked up the Wisconsin offer after a great camp performance in Madison, where he earned MVP honors.
He had nine different scholarship offers from different colleges before making his decision on Monday. Novak had been a priority for offensive linemen head coach A.J. Blazek, who has done a good job when it comes to recruiting the players.
Expected to be an interior offensive lineman Novak had offers from Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville and several different schools. He is committed to Wisconsin and Novak starts what could be another very strong OL class for the offensive linemen head coach A.J. Blazek.
OL Benjamin Novak’s thoughts about Wisconsin
“Wisconsin is definitely at the top of my board, now. The hospitality, coaches, the facilities, everything about the Badgers made me feel very good about them.”
2026 offensive lineman Benjamin Navok talked about how he felt about attending Wisconsin.
From what the Badgers have always done best, Novak is a big prototypical Midwestern prospect. He hails from a good high school program and is very malleable.
When it comes to how he fits in, Wisconsin has a very full 2025 offensive line class, and the plan would probably be to go for something close to that class in 2026. Novak is the first piece of the puzzle, and depending on who else enters the class, we could see him trying several positions along the line.
Novak offers an addition of dimension and versatility to the Wisconsin offensive line loving a depth of upside. His combining good size and strength could make him an offensive weapon, provided that an effective transition into the collegiate game is done.
