NBA News: The Milwaukee Bucks have already had themselves a hectic 2023 off-season. A multitude of moves have defined what their future will look like. Khris Middleton is back on a three-year deal and Brook Lopez is back on a two-year deal. The Bucks did lose a few players this off-season as well. Joe Ingles signed with the Orlando Magic and Jevon Carter went south of the border to sign with the Chicago Bulls. With Carter leaving, the Bucks’ guard position is lacking some depth. That could change, however, with one trade that social media fully expects to happen.
PG Colin Sexton To The Milwaukee Bucks Is A “Full Go” According To Many On Social Media
For weeks now, many have clamored for the Bucks to add another lead guard this off-season. With Jevon Carter leaving in free agency, that need has become even more prevalent. Though Sexton is not a pure point guard, as he’s primarily been a combo guard in his career. Sexton has proved he is more than capable of handling the ball on a regular basis. He could lead the offense at times and allow the team’s other players to play more off-ball, which would bring some much-needed versatility to this offense. Many believe Colin Sexton to the Milwaukee Bucks is about to happen:

Bucks fans, be patient. I can’t confirm if a deal has even been discussed for Collin Sexton but a level of interest is there.
It’s important to note — Jazz want to be competitive next season so they are not just looking to return future assets and salary filler in trade talk. https://t.co/961qmV5mxO

The Milwaukee Bucks have contacted the Utah Jazz in an attempt to lure Collin Sexton to Milwaukee. This would be a dream move for the franchise and one that GM Jon Horst would be thrilled with considering their limited cap space following Middleton and Lopez both returning.

What Would Collin Sexton Bring To The Milwaukee Bucks?
Throughout his first five seasons, the guard has put up some solid numbers, having averaged 19 points while shooting 46.4 percent from the floor and 38 percent from deep while handing out a respectable 3.2 assists per game. On top of his production statistically, Sexton is an energizer, as he’s always hustling and doing the dirty work. At 24 years old, he’d bring some youth to what was the oldest roster in the NBA this past season. In short, he checks off essentially every box.
As mentioned above, Sexton could be a true #2 guard next to Jrue Holiday who could lead the offense for stretches at a time. Having that type of scoring depth would make Milwaukee’s front court much more dynamic going into the 2023 season. Keeping the “big three” and even Brook Lopez in tact while still acquiring Sexton would be a huge win for the future of this team.
