NBA News: The Milwaukee Bucks may have a new head coach going into the 2023-24 NBA season, but their expectations remain at an all-time high. Adrian Griffin now has the responsibility of bringing Milwaukee back to the promised land and securing their second championship in four years. From the sounds of it, the Bucks aren’t interested in moving on from Khris Middleton or Jrue Holiday this off-season. Honestly, why would they? They are a championship contender when both are healthy, however, that doesn’t mean they can’t retool elsewhere. As it turns out, they have been named in a trade proposal that would land a young up and coming playmaker.
Milwaukee Bucks Land Collin Sexton In Trade Proposal With Utah Jazz (NBA News)

An article by Dalton Sell of Fansided outlined a scenario where the Milwaukee Bucks land 24-year-old Collin Sexton:
After striking out on Bradley Beal, the Milwaukee Bucks will have to look elsewhere to improve their roster via trade this off-season.
With the 2023 NBA Draft just days away, trade rumors are starting to surface across the league, and the Bucks should look to get involved. One particular rumor that should interest Milwaukee is that Collin Sexton of the Utah Jazz is reportedly available for trade, Per Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer.
Many have clamored for the Bucks to add another lead guard this off-season to take pressure off of Milwaukee’s key pieces, primarily Jrue Holiday. Though Sexton is not a pure point guard, as he’s primarily been a combo guard in his career, he’s more than capable of handling the ball. He could lead the offense at times and allow the team’s other players to play more off-ball, which would bring some much-needed versatility to this offense.
Throughout his first five seasons, the guard has put up some solid numbers, having averaged 19 points while shooting 46.4 percent from the floor and 38 percent from deep while handing out a respectable 3.2 assists per game. On top of his production statistically, Sexton is an energizer, as he’s always hustling and doing the dirty work. At 24 years old, he’d bring some youth to what was the oldest roster in the NBA this past season. In short, he checks off essentially every box.
While it’s unclear what exactly the Jazz may want in a deal for Sexton, it is likely not the sun and the moon after the guard had a down year in Utah. The guard saw the fewest minutes on average in his career and was designated to a bench role. If the Bucks could acquire him for cheap, it would be a huge win to give this team an upgrade in the backcourt. It still wouldn’t give the Bucks a pure point guard, as mentioned, but he and Holiday would be a fine pairing to lead the offense.
How Would Collin Sexton Fit On he Milwaukee Bucks?

As mentioned above, Sexton could be a true #2 guard next to Jrue Holiday who could lead the offense for stretches at a time. Having that type of scoring depth along with Jevon Carter would make Milwaukee’s front court one of the deepest in the NBA. Keeping the “big three” and even Brook Lopez in tact while still acquiring Sexton would be a huge win for the future of this team.
