The Milwaukee Bucks will have just a few more games before multiple players head to Indianapolis for the All-Star break. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard have been selected as starters for this year’s All-Star game and Doc Rivers will be coaching the Eastern Conference team.
The contest’s that preview the All-Star game including the Skills Challenge, Slam Dunk Contest and 3-Point Contest have just been announced and two Bucks players will be participating.
Milwaukee Bucks Guards Damian Lillard and Malik Beasley Set to Participate in 3-Point Contest
Both starting guards for Milwaukee in Lillard and Malik Beasley have been selected to participate in this year’s 3-point contest. Lillard has taken part in this event multiple times throughout his career and took home the trophy last year in Salt Lake City. Lillard will have the opportunity to defend his crown next weekend.
Beasley is Shooting Career-High 45 Percent from Behind the Arc this Season
While Lillard is an All-Star starter for his first season as a Buck, Malik Beasley has also put in a productive season since arriving to Milwaukee. Beasley is averaging 11.4 points and 4 rebounds a game while shooting a career best 45 percent from behind the arc in 49 games played this season. Beasley will have the opportunity to show that high percentage in the 3-point contest during All-Star weekend.

Lillard and Beasley will join Tyrese Haliburton, Trae Young, Lauri Markkanen, Donovan Mitchell, Jalen Brunson and Karl Anthony-Towns as this year’s 3-point contest participants which will take place on February 17th in Indianapolis.
