The Milwaukee Brewers swung a trade with the New York Mets on July 31 that brought outfielder Mark Canha to the contending Brewers and sent pitching prospect Justin Jarvis to the rebuilding Mets. Mark Canha is just getting his feet wet with his new ball club, but recently during an interview with MLB Network he revealed his early impressions of his new team.

Mark Canha reveals his early impressions of the Milwaukee Brewers.
During the interview Mark Canha was asked to elaborate on how the Brewers welcomed him and his early impressions of his new team. Here is his full response.
Yeah, it’s a bunch of guys that are relaxed and are professionals. They just come and play and have fun it seems like. I’ve only been here less than 24 hours, but i’m excited. I know a couple guys. Christian Yelich and I spent a couple years together coming up in the minor leagues and Rowdy Tellez is a fellow bay area boy. There are some familiar faces there. The guys have just been very welcoming.

Going forward Mark Canha is expected to see a lot of time in right field. The Brewers have not received a lot of production from this position all season, so hopefully he can help move this offense in the right direction.
