The Milwaukee Bucks play their third game in four days on Wednesday, and it comes in the form of a matchup against the 1-3 Toronto Raptors at the Scotiabank Arena. This is Milwaukee’s first road game of the season, and to say that they struggled in the first half would be a massive understatement.
Toronto Raptors Destroy Milwaukee Bucks in Opening Half
The Raptors were hot from the get-go, outscoring their opponents 31-18 in the first quarter of play. They kept their foot on the gas in the second period, which resulted in a lopsided halftime score of 66-44.
Damian Lillard showed signs of life with 10 points in the first half on 2-of-6 shooting and 6-of-7 from the charity stripe. Giannis Antetokounmpo, however, struggled mightily, going just 1-of-4 from the field for three points, two rebounds, two assists, a steal, and two turnovers.
It was an entirely different story for Toronto, though, with all but one starter scoring in double digits in the first two quarters of action. Scottie Barnes led the way for the Raptors with 16 points, while the only starter who failed to reach double digits in scoring, Dennis Schroder, made a massive impact in the opening half with nine assists.
This game already looked like it was beyond reach for Milwaukee at halftime.
Bucks Trolled Hard on Twitter
Unsurprisingly, the keyboard warriors were in full force as they clowned the Bucks after watching their atrocious performance in the first half against the Raptors:

The good news for Milwaukee is they still have the entire second half to try and turn things around.
