The Milwaukee Bucks have already been linked to a handful of trade candidates. You can be sure that this list is only going to grow as the February trade deadline draws nearer.
One player that appears to be on the radar of Milwaukee is Orlando Magic forward Chuma Okeke.
Milwaukee Bucks Linked to Magic Forward
According to league insider Mark Medina of HoopsHype, the Magic could potentially put Okeke on the trade block before the February deadline.
With a 14-6 record, Orlando is currently tied with the Bucks as the No. 2 seed in the East. The Magic have emerged as one of the biggest surprises early in the season. It’s also a fact that they have a bit of an excess of young prospects on their roster, which means that Okeke could be made available at the right price.
Medina also reports that Milwaukee, among other teams, has “expressed exploratory interest” in the 25-year-old forward in the past. Depending on how things go for the Bucks over the next couple of months, it’s very much possible that they emerge as buyers toward the trade deadline.
If Milwaukee, however, decides to pursue Okeke, they could have some competition on their hands. The Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, and Denver Nuggets are three other teams that have reportedly also indicated their interest in the former No. 16 overall pick.
