Much like the rest of us, Milwaukee Bucks veteran Patrick Beverley was tuned in to what turned out to be a truly captivating Game 7 war between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets. In the end, it was Pat Bev’s former team, the Wolves, who came out victorious as they mounted an awe-inspiring 20-point comeback to defeat and eliminate the defending champs in Denver.
Beverley had to give one of his former teammates his flowers after watching Karl-Anthony Towns turn in a marvelous performance in their series-clinching win. Pat Bev just had to call out all of KAT’s haters.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Patrick Beverley Sounds Off on Karl-Anthony Towns’ Big Game
Towns didn’t exactly come out with a mind-blowing performance in this one. In fact, he got subbed out in crunch time as he battled through foul trouble. However, KAT did more than enough to help Minnesota get over the hump as they completed an incredible second-half comeback.
For Beverley, this performance from the Minnesota big man should serve as proof that Towns brings it when it matters the most. At this point, Pat Bev wants all the slander to end.
I don’t wanna hear anymore bad talk about Kat ever. He has been locked in.

Towns finished Sunday’s historic win with 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting, to go along with 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block in 39 minutes of action. His numbers did not pop out of the score sheet, but he played an undeniably pivotal role in the victory.
The Timberwolves will now need more of the same from their prized big man as they face off against Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and the rest of the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals.
