Milwaukee Bucks news: In case you forgot, Patrick Beverley and Damian Lillard were sworn enemies before they joined forces in Milwaukee. The two have since settled their long-standing beef, but as they always say, the internet never forgets.
This was exactly the case on Thursday night as Indiana Pacers superstar used an old Dame tweet to troll Beverley after the Pacers ended Milwaukee’s season in Game 6.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Patrick Beverley Gets Trolled by Tyrese Haliburton
In his post-game interview, Beverley was asked to share his thoughts on matching up against Haliburton. As expected, the Bucks veteran did not have much praise for his younger counterpart. When asked about Haloburton’s playmaking, Beverley responded by saying. “If I gave you the ball for 41 minutes, you’d have 10 assists also.”
Haliburton caught wind of the jab and quickly clapped back at Beverley on Twitter:

What makes this response so savage is because Haliburton quoted a one-year-old Lillard tweet:

Obviously, Lillard and Beverley were not yet on the same team in January of 2023, which led to Dame’s “con man” shot at Pat Bev.
Haliburton flipped the switch on the two Milwaukee teammates by trolling them at the same time. Two birds with one stone, as they say.
