Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton is the type who is more than willing to impart his veteran knowledge to the younger players on his squad. The three-time All-Star has been through quite a lot in his NBA career — including a championship, of course — and he has been going the extra mile to pass on this know-how to the next generation of players.
As it turns out, this includes young guys who aren’t even on his team.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Khris Middleton Reached Out to Grizzlies Rookie GG Jackson II
The Bucks hosted the Memphis Grizzlies in early April, and apparently, rookie GG Jackson II left quite an impression on Middleton, who wasn’t even playing in that game. So much so, that the Milwaukee swingman decided to reach out to Jackson via SMS:
“A few weeks ago, actually, I got a text on my phone and it was like, ‘Hey, it’s K-Mid. Looking forward to building a relationship with you,'” Jackson recalled. “I was like, ‘K-Mid? That’s Khris Middleton!’ I have guys like that on my phone now. Crazy.
“So, Khris Middleton, if you’re seeing this, I’m gonna be aggravating you a little bit, I’m sorry, I have that access now. I’m just gonna try to take full advantage.”

Middleton’s attempt to give a helping hand may have just backfired on him. As Jackson said, he’s going to take Middleton up on his offer and it seems that the 19-year-old is going to be very enthusiastic with his approach.
Then again, Middleton probably won’t mind. After all, he did reach out to the kid first. I would not be surprised if these two were to work out together in the offseason.
