One of the biggest stars who missed out on this past season’s All-NBA honors was Milwaukee Bucks All-Star point guard Damian Lillard. The 33-year-old had been named as a member of the All-NBA team in five out of the last six seasons, with his only omission coming during his 29-game injury-plagued campaign with the Portland Trail Blazers in 2021-22.
The fact that Lillard was snubbed from the All-NBA squad in his debut season with the Bucks is an undeniably noteworthy development — one that has garnered all sorts of reactions from the fans.
Milwaukee Bucks Fans Call Out Damian Lillard’s All-NBA Snub
The Bucks have themselves questioned the so-called experts’ decision not to include Lillard in this season’s All-NBA team. The Bucks took to X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday to share their honest view on this glaring snub:
Dame didn't get one All-NBA vote? 🤨 pic.twitter.com/srPXegBVRF

Naturally, more than a few fans jumped on the bandwagon to also express their disagreement with the decision as well as how they feel Lillard has been disrespected by all this:
That’s serious

Other Fans Believe Damian Lillard Did NOT Deserve All-NBA Honor
While a lot of fans aired their grievance on the Lillard snub, there were also those who firmly believe that the decision to leave him out of the All-NBA team this year is only right. Apparently, there are a host of supporters out there who think that Lillard’s overall play in 2023-24 is not deserving of a spot in any of the three All-NBA squads:
That usually happens when other people are better… ☠️

Why would he? Hes old and washed lmao
— Java (@Java_Bets) May 23, 2024
Maybe cause yall had the collapse of the century but we don’t talk about that
— aura_ant (@ant_aura1) May 23, 2024
What did he do? Realistically he was horrible the first half of the season got better the end of the season then was defensive liability all season…
— FTGBandz ⬆️ (@tbvndz_) May 23, 2024
Didn't warrant one this year. He had his moments but at least 7 PG's averaged more points than he did and all of them had a better FG and 3 point shooting percentage as well.
— Zigazoid (@Zigazoid) May 23, 2024
Let’s be honest he turned it up after asb and still had his down moments just run ts up next szn but not 1 is crazy they voted him as a AS starter tho

In truth, there are actually more fans who agree with the snub than those who do not — at least in this particular X thread.
