There were more than a few memorable moments for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetkounmpo and the Greek national team during Tuesday’s matchup against Spain in the Paris Olympics. Unfortunately, Giannis and Co. ultimately suffered defeat at the hands of their opponents, 84-77, marking their second straight defeat in the Summer Games.
Antetokounmpo, however, made sure to get himself a bit of a keepsake from what was just his second appearance in the Olympics.
Milwaukee Bucks Fans React to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Poster Dunk
At one point in the hard-fought encounter, Giannis decided to go coast to coast to finish a play himself. This resulted in the Bucks talisman throwing down one of the nastiest poster dunks in the tournament thus far.

He slammed that home with his left hand, too.
It looked like Antetokounmpo was going to lay it in as he forcefully drove to the basket. However, it appears that he realized mid-air that he had enough air to hammer it down. And so he did — all over Memphis Grizzlies big man Santi Aldama.
Amazing.
Unsurprisingly, the fans loved what they saw from the eight-time All-Star.
I don’t know what made the other opponent think he was going to block that dunk lol

I love how this would be a monster dunk for like 99% of the league, but for Giannis it’s just a Tuesday morning. We’ve seen better, and will continue to see better. I’m so spoiled 😂

Best in the world

Knowing Antetokounmpo, though, I’m certain that he would have much rather taken a victory on Tuesday over a highlight-reel dunk.
