Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s Olympic dream took a massive blow on Tuesday after the Milwaukee Bucks superstar failed to carry Greece to a victory against Spain. The Greeks are now 0-2 and their hopes of advancing to the next round of the tournament have dropped significantly.
Be that as it may, Giannis refuses to wave the white flag.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Giannis Antetokounmpo Reacts to Spain Loss
Antetokounmpo took to X, formerly Twitter, after tasting defeat in the Olympics for the second straight game.
“Friday, we go again 💪🏾🧿” Giannis wrote.

It was a simple message from the Bucks talisman, but it is a clear indication that he’s going to continue to fight until the very end. After all, there is no quit in this man.
Greece’s loss on Tuesday follows their opening defeat at the hands of Canada. Mathematically speaking, Giannis and Co. still have a chance to qualify for the knockout phase by defeating Australia in their third and final game of the group stage. However, their qualification will also rely heavily on the result of the matchup between Canada and Spain, so it will significantly be out of Greece’s control.
Either way, expect Antetokounmpo to leave everything on the floor in Friday’s must-win game against Australia.
