Despite another tremendous effort from Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, Greece was still unable to secure their first win in the Paris Olympics on Tuesday. After falling to Canada in their opening contest, the Greeks suffered their second consecutive loss in the tournament, this time falling to Spain, 84-77.
Once again, Antetokounmpo’s massive performance was put to waste.
Milwaukee Bucks Shout Out Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Bucks feel for their cornerstone superstar. After watching Giannis do everything he can to lift the national side, Milwaukee just had to send a special shoutout to their talisman.
“Giannis gave his all,” the Bucks posted on X, formerly Twitter.

As indicated in the tweet, Antetokounmpo put up some monster numbers in this one, only to lose again.

Giannis and the Greeks, however, live to fight another day. They have one final game in the group stage on Friday against Australia, which is going to be a must-win contest for them. A victory gives them a chance to qualify for the knockout phase of the tournament, but a loss will lead to elimination and an early flight back to Milwaukee for Antetokounmpo.
There is no doubt that Giannis will give it his all on Friday.
