MarJon Beauchamp was unable to suit up for the Milwaukee Bucks during Monday’s 122-114 win over the Miami Heat. The second-year forward was ruled out from the contest due to an illness, which was obviously significant enough to force the 23-year-old to miss a marquee matchup against one of Milwaukee’s biggest rivals in the Eastern Conference.
Milwaukee Bucks Upgrade MarJon Beauchamp’s Status Vs. Toronto Raptors
After playing two games in two nights, the Bucks now have just one day to rest and recover before they return to action. They fly out to Canada on Tuesday ahead of their matchup against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, which happens to be Milwaukee’s first road game of the new season.
The good news for the Bucks is that it’s now very much possible that Beauchamp will be back in the fold for Wednesday’s contest. This is after the team upgraded the 6-foot-6 small forward’s status roughly 24 hours before the Raptors game (h/t beat reporter Eric Nehm of The Athletic):
MarJon Beauchamp has been upgraded to probable (illness) for tomorrow night’s game here in Toronto.
Marques Bolden, TyTy Washington Jr. and Lindell Wigginton are all listed as out (G-League – Two-Way).

Apart from Beauchamp, there are no other players listed on Milwaukee’s injury report other than their three two-way guys who have been assigned to the Wisconsin Herd of the NBA G League.
Coach Adrian Griffin opted to tighten up his rotation on Monday against Miami with Beauchamp out. After fielding no less than nine players off the bench in their blowout loss against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, only five players from the second unit were part of Monday’s rotation.
It was A.J. Green who took on Beauchamp’s minutes off the bench against Miami, but it’s possible that the former will be a healthy DNP again on Wednesday versus the Raptors if Beauchamp is available.
