According to NBA insider Zach Lowe, rival teams are anticipating a potential Milwaukee Bucks blow-up this summer. Without Giannis Antetokounmpo in the picture, the Bucks are in danger of losing their first-round series against the Indiana Pacers. If and when that happens, the word on the street is that the Bucks could be ready to blow up their roster.
The narrative centers around Milwaukee superstars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard not getting along — at least on the basketball court. If this is true, and the Bucks end up getting bounced in the first round, then this union could end up being nothing more than a one-year fling.
Milwaukee Bucks News: NO Trouble in Paradise

A source close to Lillard has now spoken out about this whole situation. Nate Jones, who is part of Dame’s sports agency Goodwin Sports, shed some light on the matter at hand. According to Jones, the rumors are unfounded:
They can monitor it all they want. Giannis and Dame are becoming closer and closer by the day. The idea that everyone is giving up on this already is way off. Only thing I wish is that the trade happened early summer, so they could have had time to gel/plan before the season https://t.co/eYKGCM3JbP

Lillard’s agent is Aaron Goodwin, who is the founder of Goodwin Sports. Jones is employed by the agency and he also appears to have close ties with Lillard himself.
While Jones’ statement here is not a direct quote from Lillard, this is a vital piece of information that comes from someone who is well aware of Dame’s situation in Milwaukee.

Be that as it may, there’s no denying that Lillard, Giannis, and the rest of the Bucks will be faced with some extremely tough questions if they are unable to get out of the first round. The Pacers present a formidable challenge for them but at this point, losing in the opening round is just not an option for this squad.
