Jordan Poole did all he could for the Washington Wizards on Monday night as they hosted a red-hot Milwaukee Bucks side at the Capital One Arena. Unfortunately for him, Poole’s 30-point effort was put to waste as the Bucks secured a 142-129 win over Washington to mark their fifth consecutive victory.
To add insult to injury, Poole went viral yet again after a rather questionable decision late in the game.
Jordan Poole’s Hilarious Mishap Vs. Milwaukee Bucks
With the Wizards down by 10 points and a little over four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Poole decided to walk the dog. That is, he let the ball roll across the floor without touching it in an attempt to save some precious seconds amid Washington’s comeback attempt — except that it didn’t:

You could see what Poole was trying to do here. He wanted to save as much time as he could in order to give the Wizards a better shot at mounting a potential comeback against the Bucks. While the move did work in terms of keeping the shot clock at bay, what the 24-year-old failed to realize is that the game clock was still running.
To be fair, Poole did get a deuce out of this play, but it also took him around 16 seconds to do so. I’m pretty sure that wasn’t what he had in mind when he decided to walk the dog.

To be fair to him the clock does stop after a bucket when it's under 2 minutes which lets you do this. Although getting that confused may even be worse 💀
