Milwaukee Bucks news: With Ja Morant already out for the season due to a shoulder injury, the Memphis Grizzlies have been relying heavily on the services of All-Star big man Jaren Jackson Jr. Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, they could be without their star big man on Thursday night when they host the Bucks.
With Jackson now dealing with a quad issue, the fans want to know: Is Jaren Jackson Jr. playing tonight vs. the Bucks?
Grizzlies’ Jaren Jackson Jr. Doubtful to Play Vs. Milwaukee Bucks
According to the official injury report, Jackson is considered doubtful for Thursday’s contest due to right quad and tendon soreness.
Jackson looked fine on Wednesday night as he logged 28 points, two rebounds, three assists, and a block in Memphis’ 121-113 victory over the Houston Rockets. However, with the Grizzlies playing on the second night of a back-to-back set, it’s now highly likely that the reigning Defensive Player of the Year is given the night off.
Memphis, who is currently 13th in the Western Conference with a 19-36 record, has nine other players listed on the injury report, including Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Marcus Smart, and Brandon Clarke, to name a few.
So with regard to the question of is Jaren Jackson Jr. playing tonight vs. the Bucks, the answer is that he probably won’t.
