The Milwaukee Bucks NBA in-season tournament schedule was announced on Tuesday. This will be the first time that this will occur during the NBA regular season. Milwaukee will be in Group B in the Eastern Conference.

Milwaukee Bucks In-Season NBA Tournament Schedule Released

The Milwaukee Bucks will play in four games in Round Robin play. The first game will be against the New York Knicks at home on Friday, Nov. 3, on ESPN. For the second game, Milwaukee will be on the road against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, Nov. 17.

The final two contests of round-robin play for the Milwaukee Bucks will take place on Friday, Nov. 24, at home against the Washington Wizards and also on the road against the Miami Heat on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT. Once again, the Bucks will face the Heat in a playoff-like atmosphere.

This won’t be a cupcake pool by any means for the Milwaukee Bucks, but they will have to win this pool play to advance in the NBA In-Season Tournament. The New York Knicks and the Miami Heat were playoff teams a season ago, while the Charlotte Hornets and the Washington Wizards were not.

Let’s assume the Milwaukee Bucks do win their pool, and they are the best team in that pool. They will advance to the semifinals. There are three pools in each conference. Those six winners will automatically advance, and each conference will have one wild card team. The wild card teams from each conference will have the best record that finished second in its group.

The Milwaukee Bucks do not want to rely on a wild card tiebreaker to advance if they don’t win their group stage. The knockout rounds will be held on Dec. 4 and 5. The semifinals will be held on DEc. 7 and the championship will be held on Dec. 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

It would be nice for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks to win this NBA In-Season Tournament, but there may be bigger fish to fry for them.
