Khris Middleton had his latest Milwaukee Bucks milestone on Monday night in the team’s 142-129 win over the Washington Wizards. After scoring 18 points on the evening, the three-time All-Star became the No. 4 all-time leading scorer in Bucks franchise history, surpassing Hall of Famer Sidney Moncrief.
It was a historic achievement for Middleton, no doubt.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Hilarious Reaction to Khris Middleton’s Milwaukee Bucks Milestone
Head coach Adrian Griffin addressed his team in the locker room after their hard-fought victory over the Wizards. Coach Griff decided to hand the game ball over to Middleton, who not only became the fourth-top scorer in Bucks franchise history, but also had arguably his best game of the season thus far.
As the entire team applauded Middleton for his monumental feat, Giannis Antetkounmpo could not help but throw a savage jab in the direction of his buddy:
“He ain’t gonna catch me,” Giannis said. “He ain’t gonna catch me, coach.”

Giannis just couldn’t let Khris have his moment. The comment was made in good fun, though, and you can see and hear everyone laughing about it. Still, this does not take away from the fact that Antetokounmpo played the role of the party pooper on this particular occasion.
For what it’s worth, Giannis wasn’t lying. He currently has 16,673 points to his name (he added another 42 on Monday night), and counting. While Middleton reached the 11,600 mark against the Wizards, the disparity between them remains undeniably significant.
Antetokounmpo was just spitting facts — one that everyone already knows well. He could have let Khris enjoy the moment, right?
