The mean streets of Twitter have been buzzing over the Milwaukee Bucks’ shocking decision to part ways with Adrian Griffin on Tuesday. It’s no secret that the rookie coach had been underperforming based on the lofty standards of his high-profile job, but it still came as quite a surprise for many that the Bucks decided to pull the plug on their coach at this point in the season.

All sorts of reports have been coming out about the real reason behind the front office’s decision to fire Coach Griff. More than a few fans, however, decided to make fun of the situation by pointing the finger at Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

Given that Giannis is the Bucks’ cornerstone superstar, it’s a known fact that he is an influential figure in the organization. Some fans have decided to use this notion to clown Antetokounmpo, his older brother, and the Bucks organization in general:

Griffin: "I think we should cut Thanasis for a better role player"

To be clear, there have been no substantiated reports indicating that Griffin wanted Thanasis out of the lineup. The fans are merely using this as their punchline as they poke fun at this undesirable situation the Bucks find themselves in.
