Giannis Antetokounmpo just keeps the accolades coming. After dropping a career-high 64 points against the Indiana Pacers, and becoming the Milwaukee Bucks’ all-time leader in rebounds, the “Greek Freak” was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

Antetokounmpo earned rebound no. 7,162 on Sunday against the Houston Rockets, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 7,161. He put up 26 points on 10-of-22 shooting and snagged 17 rebounds to help put his name on top of franchise-history.

He earns Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played from Dec.11-17. This is the first time Antetokounmpo’s been honored with this title this season, but it’s the 22nd in his career.

He averaged 36.0 points per game, 12.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game while shooting an impressive 63.9% from the field.

As mentioned, he scored a career-high and franchise-high 64 points, which included a franchise-record of 24 free throws on a franchise-best of 32 attempts against the Indiana Pacers on Dec. 13. His monumental 64-piece came on 71.4% shooting, which made him the fifth player in NBA history to score 60+ points on 70% shooting.

Antetokounmpo has the most points, rebounds, and assists in Bucks history; He joins three other players to lead a franchise in three individual categories.

Giannis’ 14th rebound tonight gave him 7,162 career REB for the Bucks, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most in franchise history.

Additionally, Antetokounmpo is averaging a career-high 31.4 points per game (3rd in NBA), 11.0 rebounds (T-6th in NBA), and 5.0 assists per game on a career-best 61.8% shooting (6th in the NBA) so far this season.
