The Milwaukee Bucks faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night in California. The game remained close for the duration, but ultimately the Bucks would take the one-point loss, losing 123-122.

Milwaukee’s all-star point guard Damian Lillard finished Friday’s contest with 28 points, five rebounds, and 12 assists while shooting 10/23 from the field and 4-of-12 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of play.

Following the game, Lillard took to Instagram.

Milwaukee Bucks’ Damian Lillard : “It’s all part of the plot.”

Lillard captioned his post, “Sometimes you get em and sometimes you get got it’s all part of the plot.”

Many could take this as shady, some could take it as Lillard learning from this one-point loss and moving on to the next game. Ultimately, it’s a typical Damian Lillard Instagram post highlighting his pre-game fit, and then shots from shooting practice and some in-game action.

In his first season with Milwaukee, Damian Lillard is averaging 24.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 35.0% from the three-point range, and 42.3% from the field in 59 games played. With Friday’s loss, the Bucks drop to 41-23, putting them as the third seed in the Easter Conference.

Over their last ten games, the team has gone 6-4 and are currently in a two-game losing streak.

The Bucks are still in LA as they finish their California showdown with an afternoon matchup against the Clippers on Sunday. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been lied as probable (right knee tendinitis), while both Chris Livingston (G-League Assignment), and Khris Middleton (left ankle sprain) have been listed as out.
