While Damian Lillard has had the occasional offensive explosion for the Milwaukee Bucks this season, we haven’t really seen a trademark Dame Time moment from the seven-time All-Star since he moved to Milwaukee — at least in terms of a game-winning triple at the buzzer.
Well, that all changed on Sunday night after Lillard sank a 32-foot triple to beat the overtime buzzer against the Sacramento Kings.
Damian Lillard Calls Game for Milwaukee Bucks

Sunday’s encounter was so close that it required an extra period to determine a winner. Neither side was letting up, and it was actually Sacramento who was in the driver’s seat in the dying seconds. The Kings had a two-point lead with 5.2 seconds remaining on the game clock.
Enter Damian Lillard.

We’ve seen this type of crazy heroics from Lillard many times in the past but this is the first time he’s gotten a game-winner at the buzzer for the Bucks. “EPIC” would probably be a great word to describe this moment.
The Bucks escaped with the victory, 143-142.
Dame’s Immediate Reaction

As you may have seen in the videos above, Lillard immediately busted out his famed Dame Time celebration after seeing the ball hit the bottom of the net. It’s not often that we see this epic celly from him these days, which by Lillard’s own admission, only sees the light of day when the moment calls for it:
“I do it when it’s necessary and tonight, it was necessary,” he said, via Gabe Stoltz of Brew Hoop.
