Damian Lillard could miss his first game for the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday when they take on the Indiana Pacers. Milwaukee is playing on the second night of a back-to-back set after Wednesday’s 120-118 victory over the Detroit Pistons, which is likely why Dame has popped up on the injury report for Thursday’s clash.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Damian Lillard Questionable Vs. Pacers

Lillard did a lot of the heavy lifting in Wednesday’s win after Giannis Antetokounmpo was ejected in the third quarter. Dame logged 34 minutes of play, going off for 34 points, two rebounds, three assists, and three steals in the hard-fought victory.
It appears that he has not come out of the game unscathed.
According to the official injury report, Lillard is questionable to play against the Pacers due to a sore right calf. This is the first we’ve heard of this injury, and it sounds like Milwaukee is seriously considering giving their All-NBA point guard the night off against Indiana.
UPDATE: Lillard has now been ruled out for Wednesday’s clash:
Damian Lillard is OUT for the #Bucks tonight – follow along for updates and a new starting lineup.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Also on the Injury Report

It is important to note that Giannis is also on the injury report. The seven-time All-Star, however, is listed as probable to play with a sore left ankle. At this point, it seems more likely that it’s Antetokounmpo who takes the court against Indiana, with Lillard being forced to sit out.
Milwaukee’s next game is on Saturday against the Orlando Magic, and it will be very interesting to see how their injury report shapes up for that one.
