The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 118-117 on Thursday night, and Pat Connaughton hit a milestone along the way in the basketball game. He only recorded two assists in the game, but Connaughton now has recorded 600 assists in his NBA career.
The assist came on Brook Lopez’s 3-point basket with 6:11 remaining in regulation, and at that point in the ball game, Milwaukee was trailing Philadelphia 102-97 at the time before they rallied to come back and win the game.
This is his ninth NBA season, and this is his sixth season with the Bucks. His first three NBA season was with the Portland Trail Blazers. Connaughton is one of the key players off the bench for Milwaukee this season and has been over the last several years. He always will make some starting lineup appearances whenever needed.
Also, in the game, Connaughton scored seven points and grabbed two rebounds. He is 30 years old and is under contract with this franchise for another year until his player option comes into play.

It is interesting that the Bucks fanbase loves this player. He is one of the most underrated players on the roster and will always do whatever is asked by the coaching staff. Connaughton will have many more assists this season, and this is just one out of 82 games this season. He has been a solid role player throughout his tenure with the Bucks.
Congrats to him on this milestone throughout his NBA career up to this point. He will always be one of the first players off the bench.
