The Milwaukee Bucks took care of business on Monday night with a nice bounceback win against the Chicago Bulls. The Bucks were still reeling from their tough loss to the Indiana Pacers in the semifinal of the NBA In-Season tournament, so it was good to see them carve out a hard-fought win against the Bulls, 133-129.
Milwaukee Bucks Outlast Bulls
This captivating contest required an extra period to determine a winner. Neither team would let up as a shorthanded Chicago side pushed the Bucks all the way to the brink. Milwaukee stepped it up in crunch time yet again, though, as they got their revenge from their overtime loss in Chicago back in November.
After the game, veteran big man Brook Lopez had some high praise for his team and their unwillingness to fold down the stretch:
“All our guys showed up,” Lopez told Melanie Ricks of Bally Sports Wisconsin. “Whoever’s on the floor, we’ve been so great in the clutch. Everyone’s been clutch. We’ve played together, gotten stops when we need them, and coming up with big shots offensively.”

Brook Lopez Shouts Out Bucks Fans
Monday’s game was the first of six straight home games for the Bucks at the Fiserv Forum. When asked to comment on this home stand, Lopez took the opportunity to send a heartfelt message to the ever-loyal Bucks fans:
“We obviously love playing in front of our fans, they give us a charge, such a ‘home-court advantage’ — a real home-court advantage,” Lopez said. “Truer words were never spoken. We love these fans. We love playing in Milwaukee. I2t’s just the best. So we’re definitely gonna take advantage of this home stand.”

Milwaukee returns to action on Wednesday against the Pacers and you can be sure that the fans will be all out in their support for their team as they look to exact some revenge on Tryese Haliburton and Co.
