The Milwaukee Bucks’ 130-111 blowout loss against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night came at a terrible time.
I mean, there’s really never a good time to suffer such a deflating loss. However, the fact that the Boston Celtics also won on Wednesday made Milwaukee’s defeat even more embarrassing.
Raptors Own Milwaukee Bucks on Same Night of Celtics’ Historic Win
The Bucks did all they could against Toronto but their effort clearly wasn’t enough. It wasn’t even close to acceptable, actually. In the end, it would be hard to argue against the notion that Milwaukee absolutely deserved to lose against a Raptors side that had its fair share of offensive struggles to start the season.
Toronto had no problems scoring the ball against the Bucks, though, and the fact that they dropped 130 points all over Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. is a testament to this fact.
To make matters worse for Milwaukee, Wednesday night also saw the Celtics destroying the Indiana Pacers, 155-104.
Nope, there are no typos there. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and the rest of the Cs really beat out Indiana by 51 points.
Naturally, fans could not help but point out the stark contrast between the Bucks’ and the Celtics’ performances on Wednesday night. After all, these two teams are supposed to be the top two sides in the East this season.
The keyboard warriors showed no mercy on Twitter:

For those wondering, the Bucks and the Celtics face off on November 22 at the TD Garden. That should be a good one.
