The Brewers injury situation is becoming quite a story line. Starting pitchers currently on the IL include Brandon Woodruff, Wade Miley, and Aaron Ashby. This weekend they lost their leader in Willy Adames after a foul ball struck him in the head as he was leaning over the dugout railing. They won just two out of eight series in the month of May, are in desperate need of a hot streak, and for some players to get healthy.
Toronto Blue Jays (28-26) News
Despite coming off a series win over Memorial Day weekend, the Blue Jays have been slumping. A very bad second half of May has them currently at the bottom of a tough American League East division and they recently held a players only meeting to discuss their overall performance. Bo Bichette is carrying the team offensively, but they are still looking for better contributions from others including starting pitcher Alek Manoah who has a 5.53 ERA on the season.
