The Milwaukee Brewers are the National League Central Division Champions! They are off to the MLB postseason for the fifth time in six years after taking their third divisional title in that same timeframe. There are certainly many reasons to celebrate in Milwaukee tonight!
However, what turned out to be an amazing night has been muddled with some false reporting by national content creators. For some reason, there are some members of the media that are trying to create a story about an apparent feud between Rowdy Tellez and Josh Donaldson. These “reports” paint Donaldson as a cancer in the Brewers’ clubhouse and are, in a word, quite divisive.
Rowdy Tellez Told a Funny Story About Josh Donaldson Joining the Milwaukee Brewers

It all began with this interview:
Rowdy Tellez on meeting Josh Donaldson:
“He walked in the clubhouse and walked straight by, and I said ‘Hey…’ —there were a couple other words after that, I was like, ‘when you walk into a clubhouse you introduce yourself to new teammates.’” pic.twitter.com/XMqDHIBTRN

Of course, this interaction and the comments made by both players toward each other were complete jokes. They were teammates before on the 2018 Toronto Blue Jays.
Media Entities Have Been Portraying Josh Donaldson as a Problem for the Milwaukee Brewers

Well, that is not the way some media members chose to look at the story. Instead, they decided to paint Donaldson as locker room cancer (a reputation he has unfortunately earned throughout his career) and a horrible teammate in Milwaukee:

Thomas Hall of Yahoo Sports said that Donaldson and Tellez have a “beef.” Lydndon Suvanato of Sportskeeda called him “icy.” Rexwell Villas of Clutchpoints said fans should cringe at the comments.
The problem, of course, is that they do not understand Tellez, the Brewers, and the sense of humor shared by the two teammates.
Milwaukee Brewers Bench Coach Pat Murphy Praises Josh Donaldson’s Clubhouse Presence

Hunter Baumgardt of 97.3 The Game in Milwaukee interviewed Pat Murphy, the Brewers’ bench coach, and asked him about Donaldson’s demeanor and presence in the locker room. Murphy responded:
“He could’ve been a lot different and walked in here with his MVP trophy on his shoulder, (but) he’s came in humble. He’s handled it great. He’s led by example. He’s been the right guy.”
And as for how Donaldson views Tellez? Well, all one needs to do is look at the celebration in the clubhouse after the Chicago Cubs lost to the Atlanta Braves, handing the division title to Milwaukee:

Donaldson was traded halfway through the 2018 season and Tellez, a rookie at the time, did not spend much time with club either. However, they have a common bond and it is clear that they are best friends on this Brewers team.
